SEASON PASS RULES
1: HV Ski LLC d/b/a Hidden Valley Ski Area (hereinafter "Hidden Valley') season passes provide the member full use of Hidden Valley lifts during normal operating hours.
2. Season passes must be worn on the right arm or upper body (excluding gloves and hats).
3: Hidden Valley assumes no liability for personal injury, property damage or equipment damage or loss.
4: Hidden Valley reserves the right to require proof of age and/or school attendance.
5. Hidden Valley is a recreational ski/snowboard area. Members are responsible to: know these membership rules, know "Your Responsibility Code", know and follow general rules for safety and good conduct and obey all Hidden Valley signage.
6. The following will be cause for immediate loss of skiing/boarding privileges:
a. Theft and/or vandalism of Hidden Valley premises
b. Use of inappropriate language.
c. Interference with snowmaking, grooming or ski patrol operations
d. Underage smoking and/or drinking
e. Violation of "Your Responsibility Code."
f. Reckless jumping and/or jumping off chair lift.
g. Violation of general rules for safety and good conduct.
h. Failure to obey Hidden Valley signage.
i. Loitering or inappropriate behavior in chalet area.
7. Loss of your season pass may result in your loss of skiing privileges for the balance of the ski season or for shorter periods.
8. Hidden Valley management reserves the right to determine what lifts or runs are operating
9: Hidden Valley management reserves the right to determine area operations and opening dependent on the weather & safety.
10: Hidden Valley management reserves the right to limit the quantity of season passes sold.
11. I understand that violation of any of Hidden Valley's rules or policies will constitute good cause for loss of pass for the season.
12. Inverted aerial maneuvers are not recommended or allowed and are considered extremely dangerous by Hidden Valley.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE
The following responsibility code must be adhered to for your safety and the safety of others. If you do not agree with the Responsibility Code, do not purchase a pass to use the facilities at Hidden Valley. Purchase of passes will acknowledge your agreement that you will obey the following:
1. Be alert for hazards. Ski/snowboard under control and in such a manner that you can stop or avoid vehicles, snowmaking equipment, other objects, or skiers/snowboarders.
2. Each skier/snowboarder must assume responsibility for his or her actions as it relates to the safety of others.
3. Yield to other skiers/snowboarders when entering a trail or starting downhill.
4. Avoid the person below you when going downhill or overtaking another skier/snowboarder.
5. Avoid stopping where you obstruct a trail or are not visible from above.
6. Ski/snowboard on open groomed areas only. Keep off closed trails and posted areas and observe all posted signs.
7. Jumping is permitted in designated areas only (i.e. Terrain Park). Jumping carries a serious risk.
8. Speed should be greatly reduced on beginner (green dot) runs and any congested areas. No racing is permitted except in designated areas at designated times.
9. All snowboards/skis shall be equipped with metal edges and retention straps or ski breaks.
10. All chairlift passengers must remain seated at all times while riding the lifts. Snowboarders must have one foot free of their bindings when loading and unloading from chairlifts.
11. Each skier/snowboarder is responsible for knowing how to load and unload from lifts.
PASS POLICIES-READ CAREFULLY: Season pass holders may get their passes during regular business hours anytime before December 1, 2010. You will be notified what dates you can get your picture taken and receive your pass. There is a $50 replacement fee for ANY pass lost. All adults age 18 and over must EACH sign the release below. Parents or legal guardian must sign the release below for EACH minor (ages 17 & under). For questions, please call our Ticket Administrators at 920-863-1450
